At Ambience we believe that the path towards healing is a job done from the inside out. Mind, Body and Soul come together in a harmonious balance to create Calm, Tranquillity and Healing. Yoga, Tai Chi, Qi Gong, and meditation promote weight loss and stress reduction.. We offer a variety of classes for beginner, intermediate and advanced students. Presentations, Seminars, Workshops Focus will be placed on various health issues including diabetes and heart disease. Statistics show that diabetes is growing and has reached epidemic proportion and heart disease is the number one killer in our society. Our objective will be to teach you how to manage the disease and provide you with treatment options. A major focus of our centre is to teach prevention approaches to wellness.

Yoga

Tai Chi

The practice of Yoga can be viewed as a pure science, a discipline, a methodology for inner awakening. It is up to the individual as to what level of commitment he/she chooses to live a Yogic lifestyle. Regardless of one's degree of dedication, practising the postures, breathing exercises and meditation makes you healthier in Body, Mind and Soul. Yoga can be practised by all ages and has proven to be effective in dealing with physical conditions as well as psychological conditions.
Tai Chi is often referred to as "Meditation in Motion", is characterized by a sequence of precise, slow, flowing movements. Tai Chi offers the physical benefits of balance, structural alignment, fine motor control, and rhythm coordination. Tai Chi also has psychological benefits in teaching the individual to understand the self and to relate to their surroundings more effectively. One of the primary aims of Tai Chi is to circulate the "chi" within the body and promote a healthy energetic equilibrium.

Qi Gong

Qi Gong (pronounced "Chee" "Gong") is an ancient Chinese Movement Technique that aims to move Qi or (Vital Energy) through the body using Gong or (skill). It combines focussed concentration with controlled breathing and slow series of precise movements. Qi Gong is recommended for relaxation, stress reduction and helping the body to heal when sick.
